いつもはほぼ曇っているロンドンですが、
ブロードウェイマーケットにきたら欠かさずくるのがこのYeast Bakery.
そしてお花も。 and flowers too!
コロンビアロードもブロードウェイマーケットもものすごく久々でした！
コロンビアロードにちょっと前にできた大好きなお店、Mason & Painter。
で、こちらが本日の目的！
こういうのが欲しかったんですよ！
今週は奇跡的に毎日青空が広がっていました。
ご近所のイギリス人が本気で干ばつ危機を心配しているほどです。
そんなラブリーすぎるお天気の土曜日、かわいそうにうちの相方は朝から眼科検診。
何がかわいそうって、瞳孔を開くので外に出られないのですよ…眩しすぎて。
というわけで、私はこんなラブリーすぎる週末を無駄にしたくないので、
ちょうどお買い物がしたかったのでいそいそと一人お出かけ。
超ど久々にブロードウェイマーケットへ。
It's been miraculously sunny in London this week!
However, my poor mister had to go to eye hospital on Saturday.
He had to stay home after the appointment as his pupils were open,
So I decided to go shopping alone.
I went to Broadway Market. It's been ages I go there!
あ〜〜〜、やっぱりイーストはいいなあ〜。
お洒落な人がいっぱい〜！
コロナ前でこの天気だったらもーっと人いたような気がする。
やっぱりコロナを懸念して人少なめなのかしら。
ストールもちょこちょこ空きがありました。
でも相変わらず楽しいストールがいっぱい。
クリエイターテーブルが増えた気がします。
I love East London.
Lots of fashionable people....
I think there would be more people before Coronavirus mess with this kind of fine weather.
There were some empty stalls.
But still there were lovely stalls of foods and creators.
ここのクイニーアマンが絶品なんです。
本場ブルターニュ人の相方も絶賛。
というわけで家で泣く泣く留守番中の相方にお土産を買う。
I always go to Yeast Bakery when I go to Broadway Market.
You must try their Kouign-amann.
It's traditional sweets from Britany, France.
My partner, who is Breton, loves it too.
I bought a box of these for him who was waiting at home.
ブロードウェイマーケットに行ったら、大体お決まりのコースがあって、
私はここからコロンビアロードへテクテクお散歩。
I usually walk to Columbia Road after Broadway Market.
以前はすぐ近くに住んでたので本当によくきたけど、
西に引っ越して以来こっちにくるのが本当に億劫になってしまい。
（だってこのマーケット二つに来ようと思ったら朝早く出ないといけないし…）
ころな前からそんなにきてなかったのでたぶん2年以上ぶりかも。
だけど相変わらず大好きなストリート。
コロンビアロードには私がきた頃からずっとあるお店と新しく開いたお店、両方が共存。
I haven't been both Columbia Road & Broadway Market for ages.
I used to live in East End and I often go both when I was living in East End.
After I moved to West London, I don't really come to East....
Specially if I want to go to those markets, I have to leave very early in the morning.
I probably haven't been these 2 places for more than 2 years.
I love Columbia Road.
There are new shops and old shops which I knew since I moved to London.
この新しくオープンしてたヴィンテージショップ、Vout。もう一気にファン。
全部好き…。
欲しいのいっぱいあった〜！
買い付けでヴィンテージフェアを回るともうそれで十分になってしまうので、
ヴィンテージショップもなかなか行かなくなってしまった。
でもここはまた来たいな〜。

I don't really go to vintage shops anymore as I often go to vintage fairs for buying.
But I definitely want to come back here!

My favourite brand, Colenimo.
I wanted a shirt there, so I went there to try it and chit chat with Aya who is a designer of the brand.
という絶妙なヴィンテージ＆モダンミックスのスタイルを置いてらっしゃるColenimoさん。
今回はシャツを買いに行ったんですが、別のお客さんが試着していたダンガリー(写真左の左）にまんまと釣られて追加購入。
自分でも釣られすぎじゃない！？と思った。
かわいいからいいんです。
コロンビアロードは来るならやっぱりフラワーマーケットのあるとき！と思ってたんですが、
土曜日だからこそゆっくりあやさんとお喋りできて至福。
（実際は仕事の邪魔してただけですけど）

Colenimo is a brand has a mix style of vintage & modern.
I went to buy a shirt, but also bought a pair of dungarees (Left in the left photo)since I saw someone was trying and that made me feel want them.....
I usually come to Columbia Road on Sundays because I want to see flower market too.
But I could have a long chat with Aya as it was Saturday and a bit more relaxed day.
(Well, maybe I was just disturbing her working)

かわいいレモンイエローのラナンキュラスと、Yeast Bakeryのうまうまクイニーアマン。
小さいサイズが（バターたっぷりなので）ちょうどいい。
My harvest today.
Lemon yellow ranancurus & Kouign-amann from Yeast Bakery.
It's small but actually perfect size as it is very buttery.
You really have to try one!
