コロンビアロードのほうから歩いてくると、
ブロードウェイマーケットの入り口の両脇に二つのカフェがあるのですが…
(以前はここ、フレンチなカフェだった気がする。）
I'll write about the cafe in Broadway Market which we visited in my birthday.
If you walk to Broadway Market from Columbia Road,
you can see 2 cafes at the beginning of Broadway Market.
I think one of them has changed.
(I suppose it used to be a French cafe.....)
こちらのマーケットカフェは、イタリアンのカフェです。
Market Cafe is an Italian cafe.
もとはパプだったと思われるひろーい店内に、かわいいヴィンテージの家具が並びます。
I guess it used to be a pub so they have spacious floor with cute vintage furniture.
お店の家具はすべて、このカフェの角を曲がったところにあるThe Dog and Wardrobeから。
私も自分の家のように家具を見に行くつもりだったのですが、
いつもいつも一足遅く…。
次回こそは必ず、着いたら一番に行こう。
All of their furniture is from The Dog and Wardrobe, the vintage furniture shop near Market Cafe.
I wanted to go to the shop too, but I always missed it......
Next time I come to Broadway Market, I'll go there first.
イギリスらしい花柄の壁が、ミッドセンチュリーの家具となぜかマッチ。
カラフルでかわいい。
The very British flower printed wall paper matches mid-century furniture.
It's colourful and cute!
この日はとっても遅いランチだったので、軽くラヴィオリとリゾットのみにしておきました。
ラヴィオリはパンプキン! 甘くておいしかった。
相方さんのマッシュルームのリゾットは、マッシュルームの味がしっかりしていてGood!!
It was a very late lunch, so we just had pasta.
Mine was pumpkin ravioli. It was sweet and yummy.
My partner took mushroom risotto.
It has a proper mushroom taste.
食後にケーキ…と行きたい所だったけど、
まだまだ見たいところがあったので、ささっと食べれるアフォガート。
コーヒー苦手な私でも、アイスクリームと一緒なら食べれるよ。
こちらにはケーキもあります。
They have cakes too. I wanted to have one, but we wanted to walk around more.
so we just took a affogato.
I don't like coffee but I can drink with ice cream :)
窓辺の席からはカナルが見えます…。
マーケットのある日に、ブランチできたら、最高!
You can see the canal from the window.
It would be the best to have brunch in the market day!!
