イギリスはこの週末、イースターでした!
せっかくだしどこか行きたい...と思っていたのですが、
家の改装中でプランがたたず、ぐだぐだしていたらホテルも交通費も高くて手が出せなくなってしまい、結局ロンドンに。
家の改装やほかの事でばたばたしていたので、せっかくなのでお出かけとだらだらを交互に楽しみました!
Hi everyone, how was your Easter weekend?
I wanted to travel somewhere, however, we are refurbishing our flat now and couldn't plan anything...
So we stayed in London.
グッド・フライデーはとっても久々に金曜日のポートベロー!
ポートベロー・グリーンの金曜日のマーケットが大好きなのですが、
最近は金曜日に働いているのでまったくいけず。
この日は仕事もお休みだったので、行ってきました!
土曜日が有名なマーケットですが、金曜日のディーラーさんたちはヴィンテージフェアにも出しているディーラーさんばかりで、セレクトも秀逸。

On Good Friday, we went to Portobello Market.
I hadn't been there for ages since I started working on Friday.
Although Saturday is more popular than Friday, I love Friday dealers! Their selection is marvelous!

どれもステキで浮かれていたら、これは！と思うドレスに出会えました!
しかも激安!!
しかも日本人の方のストールで購入させていただきました!
まだこの値段でロンドン中心部でかわいいドレスが買えるとは...
私もまだまだ勉強せねば!!
There were lots of great clothes, and I found my favourite!!
And it was great value!!
じつはずっと、イースターはパリに行きたいなーと思っていて、
フィガロのパリ特集も買ってパリへの想いが募るばかり。
ここはちょっとパリのビストロって感じでお気に入りなのです。プチ・パリ気分。
We wanted to go to Paris this Easter, but we couldn't.
I still want to go, but this restaurant is like a bistro in Paris :)
とろっとろの卵とトマトソース、そしてミートボールの組み合わせが絶妙なシャクシューカ。
ステーキはこれぞフレンチって感じのメニュー。
フレンチの相方曰く、焼き加減はイギリス式でしたが、笑、おいしかったー！
食事のあとはウェストボーンからベイズウォーターへ抜けてテクテクお散歩。
Loved their Shakushouka! Soft runny eggs and tomato sauce, and meat balls....!
And typical French menu, beef steak! It was so good!
After lunch, we went for a walk to Bayswater.
ポートベローの大好きな花屋で、イースターなのにどこもいけないので代わりにお花をたくさん買ってもらいました!
As it is Easter, I bought lots of flowers!
うれしかったのがすずらん!
イギリスでは見たことない!! (キャサリン妃のブーケに使われていたのに!）
切花もあったのですが、思い切って鉢で購入。
大事に室内で育てようと思ったら、もう危ないサインが...。
お庭でちゃんと育てられるか心配!
And I bought a pot of Lilly of the Valley!
I had never had seen it in UK!
I usually go for cut flowers, but I try to take care a pot!
But it's already fading! lol
I should plant it in our garden....
土曜日は朝から天気予報アプリとにらめっこ。
天気のいい日に遠出したいと思っていたのですが、天気のいい日が...ない。笑
とりあえずせっかくの休日を無駄にしたくない、と思って、リッチモンドへランチとお散歩&買い物へ。
Saturday, I was checking a weather app to think when we should go out of London, but it showed it was cloudy all weekend....
But we can't waste our long weekend, so we decided to go out to Richmond for lunch and walk.
...とおもったら、急に天気がよくなってきたみたいなので思いきってキングストンに足を伸ばしました。
However, the weather got better, so we went to Kingston!
かなり遅く出たけれど、とりあえず目をつけていたパブ、Woody'sに滑り込み。
We were so late for lunch, but this pub's kitchen Woody's was still opened.
We were interested in this pub!
川辺でのんびりするにはまだ肌寒いけれど、
川が見える日当たりのいい席はぽかぽか暑いくらい。
冷たいビールがおいしい!
ここ、世界各地のビールがそろっていておすすめ。
私の好きなベルギーのチェリービールも!
It was still cold outside, but the inside of pub at the sunny side was so warm, even hot!
The cold beer was so good by the window, looking at the shinny Thames.
They have lots of beer from all over the world, even my favourite cherry beer from Belgium!
ビーフバーガー頂きました。
おいしい！
They have a fabulous burger....!
イースターサンデーはどこもお休みだろうということで、ぐだぐだの日に。
でも相方が久々にクレープ作ってくれました!
Easter Sunday, we just chilled out at home.
My mister cooked crepe! Yum!!
イースターマンデーは、やっとのことで楽しみにしていた遠出。
久々に行きたくなったブライトンへ。
やっぱりブライトン行くなら晴れた日でしょ。と思ったんですが、晴れの日がなかなかないのがイギリス...。
でも結局お店めぐりで忙しくて、天気はあんまり関係なかったかも。笑
でもブライトンはやっぱりはれた青空が似合う!
とってもいいお天気の日に行った、去年の夏のブライトンのこともかけてなかったので、
次回はそれと一緒に久々にブライトン情報を更新しますね!
Finally, we went out of London on Easter Monday!
We went to Brighton! We are looking for a sunny day for Brighton, but never came.....
However, I was so busy to look shops, so maybe it didn't matter whether the weather was good or not. lol
I haven't written about the last time we visited there, so I will update new addresses of Brighton next time!
