デザインミュージアムや、デンマーク女王の居城であるアメリエンボー宮殿があるアメリエンボー地区を歩いてみました。

こちらは、アメリエンボー宮殿の前にある、マーブルチャーチ。

ドーム型の教会です。

まん丸な教会って、珍しい。

ドームのてっぺんから漏れる光に、なんだか神聖なものを感じてしまいます。

てっぺんでなくとも、薄暗い教会に差し込む光は、どこか神秘的。

さて、こちらがアメリエンボー宮殿。

女王の居城で、イギリスでいうバッキンガム宮殿にあたります。

衛兵交代もあります。

 

が、あまりに地味ですよねえ...(失礼!）

兵隊さんがいなきゃお城とはわからないよ。

ゲートもなく、だれでも近寄れちゃう。
(実際私がいるときに、窓の辺りまで近づいて 兵隊さんに「Oi!」と叫ばれてる人がいました。）

元は貴族のおうちで、同じようなビルがこのスクエアの四隅にあります。

ここがお城!と言われなきゃどのビルが女王様の居城かもわかりゃしない。

よく言えば、近寄りやすい、親しみのある、ってことかしら...。

Designmuseum Denmark ~cafe & shop

さて、今回の美術館来訪のメイン。ショップです。

ショップがいいっていうから来たんです。


Now, it's the time for the main target of this museum.  Souvenir shop!
I went there because I heard the shop is good!

ポップでカラフルなかわいい雑貨が並んでいます。

デザイン関係の本も。


There were so many pop & colourful items.
Some books of design too.

 ミュージアムのショップとは思えないおしゃれなラインナップ。

It's like a cool select shop.  It's not like a museum.

食器類はかわいいものから、和室にもしっくり来るようなシンプルなものまで。

そう、北欧デザインってシンプルで機能的なデザインが、
和の簡素で洗練された伝統的なデザインと共通している。。

モダンでいてシンプルなデザインが、和のそれと合うから、純和風な家にも取り入れやすい。

イギリスの古い家に来てしまったので、(ヴィンテージ家具も安く入手できるし）、今は自分の家には取り入れていないけれど、
日本にいたら間違いなく、北欧デザイン、買っていたなあ。


Tableware is cute, or simple which suit Japanese style.
Scandinavian design is simple and functional.
I think that commons Japanese design which simple and sophisticated.
Scandinavian modern simple design suit Japanese design
so that it's easy to adopt Scandinavian tableware to Japanese interior.
I don't have any Scandinavian style in my house
as I live in Old English house and can easily get English vintage.
But, I would buy them if I was living in Japanese house.



さて私のお気に入りセレクトは、

So, this is my favourites.

 この左の、キュートな傘のカードセット。

The left, a card set with cute umbrella illustration.

右の、鳥模様のコップ。

鳥模様が長新太の絵みたいでかわいい...


The right, cups with blue birds.....
Those bird looked like illustration by my favourite illustrator.

どれもかわいくて、いろいろ欲しい物はあったんだけれど、吟味して選び抜いたのは、右下のクッション。

アルパカの毛で編まれていて、とってもさわり心地がよいのです。

全色揃えたかったけど、ちょっとお高めだったので、一つで我慢。


There were so many cute things I wanted to buy.
But I chose only one.  A cushion, the bottom right.
It's made of baby alpaca.
It has a good feeling of touch.
I wanted to buy all colours, but it was a little bit expensive.
I put up with one of them.

ショップの脇には図書館。

図書館でさえおしゃれ。


There was a library too. 
Even a library looked cool.

さてお待ちかねのカフェ。

お待ちかねといっても、ここに来る前にもうお茶してしまったので、用はなかったのだけれど、
カフェ好きとしてはチェックしてしまう。


And, now it's a cafe time.
But unfortunately I had a tea break before I came to the museum.
It's a shame.

子供用の席までちゃんとありました!

(しかも日本語の本まで!）


There were seats for children!  (Even the Japanese book!)

中庭のカフェスペースも広々としてステキ。

ケーキもおいしそうだったし、知っていたらここでお茶したかったなあ。


The cafe space in the patio was spacious and nice!
Their cakes looked good as well.
If I knew this place, I would have had tea here.....

ここの中庭も、(一部の展示場も）、工事中だった...。

町中どこもかしこも工事中のコペンハーゲン、行くなら来年以降がいいかも。


By the way, a part of the patio and some exhibition rooms were under construction.
What was going on in Copenhagen?
I suggest it's better to go there next year......

さて、今回の美術館来訪のメイン。ショップです。

ショップがいいっていうから来たんです。


Now, it's the time for the main target of this museum.  Souvenir shop!
I went there because I heard the shop is good!

There were so many pop & colourful items.

Floral summer dress

Frock Me!(6月）にて。

ヴィンテージスタイルの巻き髪に、真っ赤なルージュ、ヴィンテージ（っぽい）眼鏡、クラシカルなフラワープリントのドレス。

これだけヴィンテージな要素があるのに、ヴィンテージコスプレにならないのはなぜかしら。

黒でシックにまとめているから?

眼鏡は私も今注目のアイテムなので、

Designmuseum Denmark @Copenhagen

最近、美術館よりはもっぱら街歩きが楽しい私。

よっぽど時間に余裕があるか、どうしても見たい作品があるとき以外は、
旅先で美術館に行くことはあまりないのですが、
今回は北欧のデザインに(というかショップに）興味があり、
デザインミュージアム・デンマークへ行って見ました。


I prefer walking around town to going to museum.
When I travel somewhere, I go to museum only if I want to see particular art or I have plenty time.
I was interested in design of Northern Europe so that we went to Design Museum Denmark.

 家具のデザインを中心に、北欧デザインの変遷を見ていく美術館。

You can see the history of Northern European design in the museum, specially design of furniture.

まずはモダンなファブリックのデザインから、現代からずっとさかのぼっていきます。

We start from the modern fabric design and look back the history.

シンプルなデザイン、一番基本のラインからちょっとひねったようなデザイン、
ごてごてした装飾的なものはないけど、ちょっとひねりがあるような。

Simple design.  The design was twisted from the simplest line, no gaudy decoration, but some taste.

その過程がよくわかるのがこの部屋。

同じ椅子なのに、さまざまなデザインが並ぶ。


This room embodies Northern European design.
It's all about chair, but all chair have different design.

ちょっとアバンギャルドなものも。  A little bit avant-garde.

ミッドセンチュリーからずっとさかのぼっていくと、装飾的だった時代へ。

Look back the time of the decorative design from the mid-century.

ごてごての装飾を楽しんだあと、人は極めつけのシンプルなラインへ行き着いたのかしら。

People enjoyed decorative design enough, then finally reached to the simplest design, I wonder.

そして中には、こういうごてごての装飾の中に懐かしいものを感じたりする人もいて。(←私）

Then, some people feel nostalgia in the decorative old things.....  (it's me..)

日本のものもありました。

左は（おそらく）刀の鍔。いろんなデザインがあったなんて知りませんでした。

日本の武士も意外におしゃれだったのですね!


There were some Japanese items in the collection.
The items left are handguards of Japanese swords.
I didn't know there were such a lot of designs for this!
Japanese samurai was dandy!!

最近、美術館よりはもっぱら街歩きが楽しい私。

よっぽど時間に余裕があるか、どうしても見たい作品があるとき以外は、
旅先で美術館に行くことはあまりないのですが、
今回は北欧のデザインに(というかショップに）興味があり、
デザインミュージアム・デンマークへ行って見ました。

Coloured bead necklaces

Frock Me!(5月）にて。

う~ん、フォトグラファーとしてはこの写真は使うべきではないんだけど...。

残念ながら撮りなおすことができなかったので、(目を閉じちゃってて）申し訳ないけど使わせてもらった。

このチープなプラスチックビーズのネックレスはよくマーケットで見るんだけれども、
いまいち使い方がわからなくて食指が動かず。

でも彼女のこの色使いにはっとさせられた!

オレンジの刺し色が絶妙。

このあとすぐに私もマーケットに飛んで行って大量購入してしまいましたよ。(笑）

but I didn't know how to match my clothes.

After that, I ran to vintage market and bought many necklaces :)

Frock Me!(5月）にて。

う~ん、フォトグラファーとしてはこの写真は使うべきではないんだけど...。

残念ながら撮りなおすことができなかったので、(目を閉じちゃってて）申し訳ないけど使わせてもらった。

このチープなプラスチックビーズのネックレスはよくマーケットで見るんだけれども、
いまいち使い方がわからなくて食指が動かず。

でも彼女のこの色使いにはっとさせられた!

オレンジの刺し色が絶妙。

このあとすぐに私もマーケットに飛んで行って大量購入してしまいましたよ。(笑）

When I saw her, I was stunned by her style in the use of colours of necklaces.
