Today, I will write about the one of the biggest antique market in West Japan.
It's in Shitenno-ji temple in the middle of the centre of Osaka city.
今回の帰国では、四天王寺の骨董市へ行って来ました。
最初は東寺の弘法さんへ行く予定でしたが、
直前になって、「四天王寺へ行ってみては、」と何人かの方から提案を受け、予定変更。
正直言うと、弘法さんは前回まったく何も買えなかったので迷っていたのです。
朝早く行くにはちょっと遠いけれど、がんばっていってきました～。
I was a bit late as a buyer, however, luckily it was raining that morning.
Some dealers opened their stalls late, I just arrived in the right time.
Unfortunately, some dealers didn't turn up that day due to the bad weather.
But I really enjoyed it.
張り切っていましたが、やっぱり朝早いのは遠いしつらい…。
が、不幸中の幸いか!? この日は雨で、お店もちょっと遅くにオープンしだしたらしく、
私は買い付け目的としてはちょっと出遅れていたのですが、結構いい時間帯についたみたいです。
が、やはり雨のため、出店しなかった業者の方もいたみたいです。
普段はもっとお店が多いみたい。
それでもすごく楽しかった!
私がほしかったものは…
What I wanted were.....
Retro kimonos.
I was not so keen to buy them initially as I thought they are not in good conditions.
But, I was wrong.
In fact, they are in very good conditions and so BEAUTIFUL!
レトロな着物。
これは前日にSarasque Vintageでいい物を買ってしまったのでそんなに見ていなかったのだけれど、
帰り際になって立ち寄ったストールで、着物の質がすごくいいことにびっくり!!
正直言いまして、もっと穴が開いたりぼろぼろのばかり売ってると思ってました。
新品同様にきれい。
今度行った時はまじめに発掘作業しよう…

特に明治のミルク坊や。
昭和なキッチュグラスがたくさん。
There were some stalls selling American vintages.
アメリカンヴィンテージもありました。
Of course, there were some food stalls as well.
I couldn't wait to taste these yakisoba noodles!!
おなかが減ったら…やっぱり屋台。
久しぶりのオムそば、無視できなかった!

形もいびつなのが古っぽくてよい。
