We went to Gloucester for a day trip.
The aim we went there was..... a vintage fair.
グロースターへ日帰りで行ってきました。
その理由とは…ヴィンテージフェア。
The vintage fair itself was not really "WOW amazing!!", but I got lots of cute stuff.

ヴィンテージフェアそのものは「ギャーかわいい!!」となるほどではありませんでしたけれども、
なかなかよい収穫でした。
雑貨類は最近マーケットに出しているので、インスタグラムなどで見てみてくださいね!
One of the most famous thing in Gloucester is the cathedral.
It became very popular after Harry Potter film came out.
We visited the cathedral when we were in Gloucester a few years ago.
So we passed this time.
さて、グロースターといえば大聖堂。
ハリー・ポッターのロケ地としても有名。
大聖堂は以前コッツウォルズ旅行で起点にしたときにすでに訪れていたので今回はパス。
There were lots of old buildings in the town.
In the right photo, there was a Beatrix Potter Museum (named after one of her book " The Tailor in Gloucester").
大聖堂の周りなど、街中には古い建物もたくさん。
右の写真にはピーター・ラビットで有名なビアトリクス・ポター・ミュージアムも。
(ピーター・ラビットシリーズの「グロースターの仕立て屋」にちなんで）
It was very beautiful day and perfect for a day trip, but after the vintage fair and lunch, it was already getting dark....
But we still wanted to find out the new place.
We went to Gloucester Docks
珍しく天気がよく、お出かけ日和だったというのに、ヴィンテージフェアを見てランチしたらもうすでに暗くなりかけている…。
でもせっかくだから、行った事ないところにも、ということで、グロースター・ドックスへ。
Because we found out there was a tea room in the vintage shop near there!
But it was closed already......
This area was the new shopping area of Gloucester.
Lots of warehouses were refurbished into shops and restaurants.
And one of them was a big antique centre!
The time was still early but it got dark very early and shops were closed early too.
Winter is not good time to go out, but we enjoyed it!
というのも、このドックスの近くにあるヴィンテージショップ内にティールームがあるから…と思ったら早々にクローズ! がちょん！
このあたりは倉庫街を改装して新たなショッピングエリアにもなっていました。
そしてそのうちの一つにまたまた大きなアンティークセンターも。
まだまだ時間は早いというのに外は真っ暗、お店も早くに閉まってしまって、やっぱり冬はお出かけにはむいてないけれど、久しぶりの遠出、楽しかった！

I was thinking to get it for my business, but I think it will be mine... :)
V&Cさんで見かけたヴィンテージの黒にゃんこティーポット!
かわいいな～と思ってたのですが、ヴィンテージフェアでめぐり合えました!
The Mad Vintageの商品に、と思ったのですが、このかわいさ、やっぱり手放せないかも。(笑）
私が溺愛しているご近所の猫ちゃんにそっくりなのですよ!
