今年もやってきましたバレンタイン。
Here comes St Valentine's day!
イギリスのバレンタインは恋人同士が(チョコに限らず）贈り物をしあうわけですが、
うちは相方がチョコモンスターなので、日本式に毎年チョコレート。
今年はAlexeeva & Jonesのもの。
今まで知らなかったお店ですが、ものすごーくおいしい!!
今度帰国するときのお土産はもうここのチョコレートでまとめたいと思います。
他のチョコレートショップと違うのは、何人かのショコラティエがいるので、
まるで4，5店違うお店のチョコレートをまとめて買える気分。
そのどれもがおいしくて…。とてもおすすめです。

This year, I bought at Alexeeva & Jones.
I didn't know about this shop, but their chocolate is seriously goooooood!!
I think my souvenir when I go back to Japan next time will be the chocolate from this shop.
They have several chocolatiers so that you feel like you can choose chocolates from several different shops.
And all of those chocolates are delicious...... I seriously recommend.
そして相方からも、毎年ほぼ決まってディナーとミュージカル。
ミュージカルはバレンタイン前にクローズしてしまうミュージカルを見てしまったので、当日はディナーのみ。(そのほうがゆっくり食べられるし。）
でもいっつもバレンタインのことを忘れていて、予約に出遅れる私たち。
一週間前に気づいたときは、目をつけていたレストランはすでにどこも満席。
何とか取れたのが6時過ぎというかなり早い時間帯…。
そんなわけで、それまでの時間、久しぶりにレストラン近くのイーストロンドンをぶらぶら。

We had already seen the musical as it closed before Valentine's day.
So we went out for dinner on Valentine's day.
However, we always forgot about Valentine and booking a table for dinner.
We noticed it a week ago, and most of the restaurants we wanted to go were all fully booked.
The only one we managed to book was at 6pm, it was quite early time for dinner....
Anyway, we went to East London where is near the restaurant to kill time until 6.
久しぶりにブロードウェイマーケットへ。
ネティルマーケットの裏手に新しいベーカリーが。
前を通るとふわ～んといい匂いがするので誘われるようにふらふらと吸い込まれてしまいました。
そこにとってもおいしいそうなクイニーアマンがあったので、思わず一つ購入。
これがめーーーーーーーーっちゃくちゃおいしかった!!
小さめ一つで1.60と、安くはないんですが、カラメルにバターとかなりしっかりした味でわりとおなかにたまるので一つで十分。
十分なんだけど、おいしすぎてまた次の日食べたくなるから、もっと買っておけばよかった!と後悔。
We went to Broadway Market. It had been a while.
We found a new bakery at the back of Netil Market.
When we passed in front of the bakery, there was really good smell, so we couldn't resist....
They had Kouign-Amann (Breton pastry) so I bought one.
That was heavenly YUM!!!
It is small, but it is really sweet and buttery, so it was enough.
It was enough at that time, but I wanted more for next day and the next!
I regret, I should have bought more.....

おいしいカフェでコーヒーを飲む練習をしている私たち。
いくつかおいしいカフェを巡ってわかったことは、
おいしいコーヒーは苦くない、ということ。
初心者の私はいつもカフェラテですが、砂糖１杯でコーヒーの苦味をまったく感じずに飲めるのは(もちろん苦味はあるけれど、コーヒーの味のほうが勝ってる）結構少ない。
ここのラテもおいしかった!
The purpose we went to Broadway market was to go to Climpson & Sons.
We practice to drink coffee at nice cafes.
After we visited several good cafes, we found out that good coffee is not bitter.
I always order cafe latte as I am a coffee beginner.
However, it's quite rare that I don't feel the bitterness in latte.
Their latte was also good!!
そして、てくてく歩いて、コロンビアロードを通ってイーストエンドへくるのがいつものコース。
この時期にたまに見かける桜のような花。
春が近づいてきているようでうれしい。
As usual, after Broadway Market, we passed through Columbia Road and came to East End.
I sometimes see this cherry blossom-like pink flowers.
It made me feel that spring is coming.
で、今年のバレンタインディナーは、ずっと行ってみたかったSt Johnでした！
みんながおすすめするとおり、おいしかった～！
こちらはまた改めて書きます。
And, our Valentine's dinner 2015 was at St John.
As everyone said, it was very good!!
