Lovely Summer Vacance in Provence ~ 南仏プロヴァンスでの夏休み Jul 2015 vol.6
アルルから車で約30分、山の頂に小さな村があります。
レ・ボー・ド・プロヴァンス。
There is a little village on the top of a mountain, called Les Baux-de-Provence.
It is about 30 minutes away from Arles.
岩山の頂に城塞を構えるこの鷹巣村は、中世にとても大きな勢力を持っていた一族の村でした。
17世紀に制圧されて以来、城塞も廃墟に。
今はお土産屋や、雑貨屋が並ぶ観光地になっています。
「フランスの最も美しい村」の一つです。
This eagle's nest village where has a fortress on the top of a rocky mountain, was the village of the clan who had a great power in the Middle Age.
Since the 17th century, it was brought under control by the French King.
Today, it is a charming little village with full of souvenir shops, one of the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.
村の奥にある教会の広場は、とても眺めのいいテラスにもなっています。
In the back of the village, in front of the church, it's a terrace with a great view!
とても小さい村なので、1時間もあれば十分全部回れます。
城塞も見ることができますが、私たちはパス。
かわいいお店を見たり、アイスクリームを食べながら小道をお散歩したり、
(ここのアイスクリーム屋さんがすごくおいしかった！）
楽しいひと時を過ごしました。
このあともう一つの村ともはしごできます。
それはまた次回に。
It's a very small village, 1 hour is enough to see everything.
You can also see the fortress, but we didn't.
We had a good time to see cute shops, and have a walk with ice cream.
(there was a best ice cream shop in the village!)
You can also go to another village in the same day.
I will write about the village next time.
