とってもご無沙汰しています。
気づいたら一ヶ月も書いてなかったー！
もっと更新を増やそうと思っていたのに、ちょっと自分にショック。
9月は私のバースデー月なので、ホリデーに行ってまいりました!
まず、9月はじめの週に日帰りで北フランスのリールへ!
It's been ages!! I haven't written my blog for a month!
I was thinking that I should write my blog more often, but....
September is my birthday month! We were on holiday!
In the first weekend, we went to Lille for a day trip!
今やユーロスターでひとっとび。日帰り旅行だって出来ちゃう。
そんなリール、実はフランスでもっとも大きい蚤の市が年に一度開催されているのです。
フレンチ系ディーラーさんたちがこぞって買い付けに行くこのイベント。
私もディーラー仲間から聞いていてすごく興味があったのです。
が、相方実家から程近いレンヌで、その次に大きい蚤の市が私の誕生日に開催というではありませんか。
というわけで、その日程でホリデーを組んだ直後、レンヌの蚤の市はすでに7月に終わったという事実…。
あまりのショックで呆然なわたしに、じゃあ、誕生日プレゼントでリールに行くか!
というわけで、念願のリール行きが叶ったのです!!
さて、そのリール、収穫的にはどうだったかというと…うふふ。笑
そのへんはまた長くなるので後日別記事で。
It's so convenient that we can take Eurostar.
In Lille, there is the biggest antique market in France once a year.
Most of dealers of French antiques and vintage go there for buying.
I was really interested and wanted to go there.
But I heard the second biggest one near Rennes, where is not far from my mister's parents' house.
So we planned our holiday to go that antique market in Rennes on my birthday.
However! It had already finished in July...... I was so shocked.
So my mister suggested to go to Lille for a day trip instead!
And the result was...... hehehe. lol
I will write about it another day.
そんなわけで、その次の週末、フランスの義実家へ。
メインはもちろん、相方の家族に会いに。
フランス帰省での楽しみのひとつは、動物たちとのふれあい！
義実家のにゃんこと遊ぶのを楽しみにしていたのですが、交通事故で他界していてショック。
その後に引き取ったにゃんこもまたも事故で他界…。と、義姉の家も含めにゃんこ不幸が多かったようで悲しい。
でも、義実家には新たに子猫が2匹仲間入り。かわいかった～～～。
でもこの黒にゃんこはかなりのビビリで結局まともに遊ぶことは叶いませんでした。
来年こそは、遊べるといいなあ。
So next week, we went to France again to see my mister's family.
I looked forward to see them, also their pets!
My mister's parents got 2 new kitties, and they were so cute!!
This black one was so shy and I couldn't really play with him.
I hope I can next year!
後半は、旅へ。今回はノルマンディーに足を伸ばしてみました。
本当はジヴェルニーやオンフルールへ行きたかったのだけど、ロワールの実家からは遠すぎた!
で、このカーンとバイユーにしぼったのですが、意外に見るところがあって、時間が足りなかった!
もうちょっとゆっくりしたかったな。
The second half of our holiday was a trip to Normandy.
I wanted to go to Giverny and Honfleur, but it was so far from their house.
We went to Caen and Bayeux, but we didn't have enough time.
They were so beautiful towns, I wanted to take time more....
そしてブルターニュの小さい村をめぐりつつ、レンヌへ。
レンヌは相方さんが大学時代を過ごした青春の町。
なのでガイドを期待していたのに、20年ぶりのレンヌは全然様変わりしていたようで、相方さんまったく役に立たず。
おまけに当時お金もなく勉学一筋だったようで、全然町に出たことなかったらしい。
旧市街さえ見たことないって…。
まあ、私も京都に住んでたとき、全然寺巡りとかしたことなかったしな…。
Afterwords, we went to Rennes through villages in Britany.
My mister went to university in Rennes.
So I expected him to guide me about the town....
However it's been 20 years since he left the town. it was totally changed, apparently.
Also, he was to busy to study, so he didn't really go out to the town.... He didn't know anything!
Well, I didn't really do sightseeing when I was living in Kyoto too...
わりと弾丸な旅でしたが、かわいいカフェめぐりも欠かしませんでした!
カーンもバイユーもそんなに大きい町ではないのに、意外にかわいいところがあってびっくり!
今回もインスタグラムがとても役に立ちました!
特に下の二つの写真のカーンのタパス屋さんは最高。
相方さんはこのホリデーのちょうど直前で、6ヶ月の薬治療が終わり、
副作用防止で食べられなかったツナ・赤ワイン・チーズが解禁になりここでお祝い。
赤ワインもチーズもだめなフランス旅なんて…というのもあって9月まで伸ばしたフランスの旅。
おいしいところに出会えて、ほんと幸せでした～!
またぼちぼち、詳しい旅行記を書いていきます。
It was a very busy trip, but I did find cute cafes!
I used Instagram to find out those, it is so useful!
Specially, the tapas bar in Caen was really great!
