春うららのロンドン、花たちが一気に咲き始めました。
冬のコートともついにおさらば。
あったかくなっても快晴の青空が見られることはめったにありませんが、
この間の週末はきれいな青空。
この機会を逃す手はない! ということでお散歩へ。
最近はまってるレイヴンズコート・パークのフレンチベーカリーでおやつとバゲットを買って、
チズィックハウスまでお散歩。
Spring has come in London! Flowers are blooming and say good bye to winter coats!
It is getting warm, but still rare to see clear blue sky.
But it was clear and sunny last weekend!
We went for a walk in Chiswick.
Recently I love a French bakery near Ravenscourt Park.
We went to the bakery and got a baguette and sweets and headed to Chiswick House.
ここのクイニーアマンにはまった...。
イートインスペースが狭いのでカフェ紹介にはのせませんが、
パンやペイストリーもおいしいし、ランチもかなりリーズナブルでおすすめ。
Their Kouign amann is definitely the best in London!
Their eat-in space is very small, so I wouldn't write about it in my blog,
however, their bread and pastries are wonderful and lunch is also very reasonable.
I highly recommend it.
とおったことのない住宅地を抜けて、
Through the residential area where I had never been,
住宅街に咲くお花を見ながら、
with looking at beautiful blossoms,
ビールの醸造所に迷い込んで、
and found a brewer,
テムズ川沿いをお散歩。
and walked along the Thames river.
こんなに気持ちのよい青空は久しぶり!
たくさんの人たちがお散歩してました。
The sky was so clear and blue.
There were many people enjoying walking too.
テムズ川沿いにたつ夢の邸宅。
Dream house by the Thames.
家からの眺めももちろんいいだろうけど、道路を挟んだ川沿いにはプライヴェートガーデンまで!
テムズ川が自分だけのものなんて...なんて贅沢!
It should have lovely views from the house, but they also have a private garden by the river!
How luxury.....
チズィックハウスガーデンでおやつを食べたら、そこで開催されているカメリア・ショーへ。
温室で丹念に育てられた椿たちが満開。
After arrived Chiswick House and Gardens, we had a snack and went to Camelia show in the conservatory.
Camelias in the conservatory were fully bloomed.
川沿いも歩けて、ステキな公園もあって、かわいいカフェもあるチズィックエリア。
家の近くで本当によかった!
これでもうちょっとイーストロンドンっぽいお店があったらいうことないんだけどなあ。
そこはそれで、ニシとヒガシの良さと言うのもあるけれど。
I really love Chiswick area!
You can walk by Thames, there are some nice parks and cute independent cafes.....
It would be perfect if there were East-London-ish shops....
However, this is the character of West London...
次の日はこれまた久しぶりにチョーク・ファームからプリムローズ・ヒルヘ。
あったかくなってきて、街歩きが楽しい季節になって来ました！
Next day, we went to Chalk Farm to walk in Primrose Hill.
It had been ages I went there!
It is getting warm and will be perfect season for exploring town!!
