8月ももう終わりに近づいてますね…。
今年はもうずっとあっぷあっぷな状態が続いていて、
ブログも更新できてないし、家の中もひどい状態！(泣)
新学期が始まるまでにはどうにかしたい…。
そんな今月のテーマは「不思議の国のアリス」。
大好きなお話です。(以前はアリスフリークでした)
夏は夏休みやお盆、夏至のイメージもあって不思議の世界との境界

I have been very busy and have enough time to organize me, so terrible!
I want to do something about it before September starts....
Anyway, the theme of the month is "Alice in Wonderland", my favourite!!
Summer is magical time for me,
like, Summer Solstice, Obon (Japanese Halloween. The period which dead spirits come back to this world.)...
I will show you vintage wonderland.
ジュエリーの一週目は、「ポップフラワー」。
不思議な国のお花っぽい、ミッドセンチュリーのエナメルのポップフラワーを揃えました。
奇しくもロンドンでは、マリー・クヮント展が開催中です。
1st collection of jewellery is "Pop Flower".
I collected enamel pop coloured flowers jewellery, which is like flowers in wonderland.
Timely thing is, there is Mary Quant Exhibition in London at the moment.
2週目は、不思議の国のアリスの登場人物、ハートの女王からイン
ハートの女王を連想させる赤やハートのジュエリーを集めました。
オンラインに乗せた以外にもまだまだあります。
2nd collection is, The Jewellery of Queen of Hearts.
I collected jewellery inspired by Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.
There are more Heart or red jewellery coming to markets.
3週目は、「リボン・リボン・リボン」。
キュートなリボンのモチーフを集めました。
80年代から100年前のアンティークまで勢揃い。リボンは永遠
3rd collection is "Ribbon, Ribbon, Ribbon".
I collected cute bow motif jewellery.
Those are from antique to 80's, all different times and style.
Bow is always girly in any period!
4週目は「シック・ノワール」。
シックなブラックジュエリーを集めました。
エレガントでシンプル、装いに欠かせない黒。
ジュエリーにもいかがでしょうか。
4th collection is "Chic Noir".
I collected chic black jewellery.
Black is always elegant and simple, essential for fashion.
Plus black jewellery to your collection.
5週目は、「月夜の宝石」。
秋の夜長にキラッときらめくジェムの付いたリングたちです。
月夜というのはこじつけで、一押しがこのブルームーンストーンの

I collected rings with gems.
My favourite is Blue moonstone ring.
I wanted to keep it for me....

こちらはPaul Cardewというイギリスの有名セラミックデザイナーの作品。
70年代から、上にミニチュアがのったり、動物の形をしたおもしろいデザインのティーポットを発表していて、

こちらは90年代の物。
こちらのポット、ジャグ、シュガーポットがセットで手に入りまし

My favourite is these Alice in Wonderland teapot set.
This is 1990's Paul Cardew's.
His work is quite collectable and he also made some Alice in Wonderland teapot.
This is one of the early ones from his Alice teapot.
They are a teapot for 4, milk jug, and sugar pot.
Milk jug might be a teapot for 2. But I don't have the lid.
It should be useful as milk jug.

I want to create Alice's tea party at market as I have got lots of teapots and cups.
But, I don't have a car....I have to bring everything in my back pack and take them by train.
I can't bring things any more....

The sugar pot is so cute, which is exactly like one the dormouse in in the original John Tenniel's illustration!

I thought it was a swan lol.

Rabbit is a crucial character in Alice in Wonderland.
I have got cute rabbits!
One is from 1930's, rabbit doll with wheels.
Another ones are from 1960's, rabbit band!
お次は夢の国繋がりで、ディズニーの60年代の本。
こちらは”Wonderful Worlds of Walt Disney"という4冊セットのほんの一つで、
Stories from Other Lands(他の大陸のお話）という一冊。
(他の3冊は、ファンタジーワールド、アメリカ、自然界、でした。）
他の大陸といっても半分がイギリスのお話で、
もちろん今月のテーマである不思議の国のアリス、メリー・ポピンズ、ピーター・パン、
101匹ワンちゃん、王様の剣から、
バンビ(どこの国？)、ペンギンの話、ちょっとダンボの前身っぽいお話、などなどの、
アメリカ以外の世界各国のお話が入っています。
イラストで見るメリー・ポピンズは貴重かも。
メリーポピンズや101匹、ピーターパンは10ページ以上あるのにアリスがたった4ページなのは納得いきませんが…

Most of stories are from UK, such as Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, and 101 Dalmatians, and The Sword in the Stone....
Also, there are Bambi, the story of penguin, and Dumbo-ish story too.
I think it is rare to see Mary Poppins in illustrations.

こちらはイギリスのメーカーSemcoの物で、なんと1930年代の物。

29日木曜日のスピタルフィールズ(28日確定）、
ポートベローは9月6日の予定ですが、天気が悪そうなら8月30日に行ってしまうかもしれません。

26th Monday at Covent Garden (Confirmed.)
29th Thursday at Old Spitalfields (will be confirmed on 28th)
6th September Friday at Portobello Green. (But if it is going to be bad weather, I might do on 30th August as I have already known it will be ok. Please check my SNS next week.)
