今年もファール・ヴィンテージフェアへ行って来ました!（去年の記事はこちら）
今年は相方が運転できなくなってしまったので、ルイスから出ているヴィンテージ・バスでいくことに。
We went to Firle Vintage Fair again last Saturday! (the post of last year is here)
My mister couldn't drive any more so we took a vintage bus to go there.
バス・ステーションから会場まではバスで約20分。
の、はずが。
It was supposed to take about 20 minutes from the bus station.
However.....
予想外の大渋滞!! （しかもなぜかバスが15分も遅れて出発するし…）
40分たってもルートの約半分しか進まないし…
もうバスに乗ってから1時間くらい…しかしいっこうに進まず…
というわけで、そこから歩きました。30分ぐらい!!
まあ、いい運動になったと思えば…。
After 40 minutes, we still in the middle of the route because of the traffic. (also the bus left 15 mins late!)
We decided to walk from the point..... It was 30 mins walk!!
Well, that was a nice exercise.
会場にはもうすでにたくさんの人、人、人。
今年の超良好な天気と日曜は雨っぽい予報のせいで人が押し寄せたっぽい。
去年の写真と比べてもやっぱり人の入りがだいぶ違う。2倍、いや3倍?
私はまず、もちろんショッピング。
There were already so many people.
It's been amazing weather and the weather forecast said it would rain Sunday.
I guess that's why many people came....
Compared with my photos from last year, probably twice or 3 times more people?
The first thins I did is shopping, of course.
相変わらずおしゃれなフェアですが、今回は本当に人がいっぱいで!!
見るのが大変だったし、収穫もいまいちでした。
ついたのがほぼ11時だったのもなあ…。
楽しみにしていたディーラーさんが来ていなかったり。
渋滞すぎてこられなかった出店者さんもいたようなのです。
びっくり。
It's so cute fair as usual. But, too many people!!
It was so hard to look around and not many harvest this time....
I was late anyway..... I got there almost 11am. (I was supposed to be there at 10am!)
Some of my favourite dealers were not there.
I heard some dealers and performers couldn't make it because of the traffic!
途中、相方さんと合流してランチ・ピクニック。
It took so long to do buying, so I had a lunch break with my mister.
今年は運転じゃなかったから相方さんと一緒に飲めたのはよかったな。
でも、お気に入りのアイスクリーム屋さんが来てなかったのは残念…。
どこのお店も長蛇の列で、最後のほうはちょっと人疲れしてしまいました。
The good thing of this year is, we could drink because my mister was not driving this time.
But our favourite Ice cream shop was not there this year....
All shops and vans had a long queue..... We were so tired of people after the day.
ヴィンテージカーも今年は去年よりたくさん来ていたっぽい。
I think more vintage cars came than last year.
バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャーに出てきそうな車。
This black car looks like the one from Back to the Future!

タイヤが木でできてるー!
This is my favourite this year!
Tires are made of wood!
こちらのアメリカーンで明るいイエローの車もかわいい。
I like this typical American vintage car too.
バーガーセットまで!!
It has its own burger set too!
このワゴン車もかわいすぎる!!
こういうの庭において東屋代わりにしてもいいな…
Love this wagon....
I want this kind of wagon in my garden as an garden house..
わんこものびのび楽しんでました!
でも、去年と比べると満足度は下がっちゃったかな…。
人がやっぱり多すぎた…。
去年あれだけ自分でも宣伝しておいたくせに。笑
知ってもらえるのはいいことだけど、人気すぎるのもちょっとな~。笑
来年は10時にちゃんと行きたいな~!
やはり免許を取るしかないか…
Dogs seemed enjoyed the fair too!
However, I was not satisfied like last year...
It was too many people.... (I recommended this fair to a lot of people though! lol)
It is good to let people know about the fair, but not nice to have too many people too....
I must come at 10am sharp next year!
I might have to get a driver license.....
こちらは私個人の戦利品。
1930年代のかわいいカスタードカップ!
彩りもですが、気泡がぷくぷくかわいい～。
これを見つけた直後に、これまたドツボなアイスクリームカップを見つけたのですが…
泣く泣く断念。（買い付けるには高かった…4つしかなかったし…）
でもまだ後ろ髪惹かれてるので、今度見つけたら買いかな～。
This is my vintage find (for my personal collection.)
1930's custard cups.
Love the colours, but also bubbles too.
I found another lovely set of ice cream cups just after I bought them, but I can't have 2 sets of dessert cups....
(Althouh it was just like what I wanted, it was only 4 and a bit expensive too for my shop....)
Still can't forget about them, I might buy them if I see them again..
