またまたすっかり遅れているウィーン旅行記ですが...。
前回に続き、ウィーンの中心部であるシュテファン寺院の近くで、オーストリア料理のレストランでディナーをすることにしました!
本格レストランですが、この日は私たちの結婚記念日。
それに私の治療終了のお祝いもかねていたので奮発です!
こちらはウィーンでも最も古いレストランの一つで、あのザッハトルテのザッハさんが所有していたレストランでも知られています。

I know my travel journal is delaying again....
So, this time is continued from the last part, which is near St Stephen's Cathedral.
We decided to have dinner near there.
It's an exclusive restaurant, but we had excuses that it was our wedding anniversary also we needed to celebrate the end of my breast cancer treatment!! lol
This restaurant is one of the oldest in Vienna and also used to be owned by the famous Franz Sacher who created Sacher torte.

実は何気なく通り過ぎたときに、ここ雰囲気いいお店だね～と思ったのですが、
あとで「ここ、雑誌でチェックしてたとこじゃん」となって、
じゃあせっかくだし、ここで食べちゃう!?　というのりになったのでした。
幸いそのときが記念日の前日だったので、ばっちり予約。
週末だったので無理かと思ったけど、大丈夫でホット一息。

When we passed this restaurant, I just thought that what a lovely restaurant.
And then I realized that I had checked this restaurant out in a magazine, and very interested!!
So we snapped at this opportunity, opened the door and booked a table.

そして当日、改めて中へ。
木のぬくもりがほっこりするカントリー調の部屋と...

Inside of the restaurant is such a lovely countryside interior.

奥の部屋は木のカラーが違いますが、落ち着いた雰囲気に。
どちらも木目を使った家具や壁に、鹿の角などの山小屋のような？インテリアがステキ!
どの席も囲われていて、プライベートが守られるし、常に壁際で落ち着きます。
ピアニストの生演奏もアリ!

In the back is a different taste, but chic and calmed.
This wooden wall and the mountain lodge-ish interior was really special and lovely.
Each table were partitioned, so there was a privacy and made a relaxed atmosphere.
There was a live piano music too!

ウェイトレスさんの制服もとってもかわいいのです!!

The uniform of waitresses were so cute!!

さて前菜に出されるパンがおいしすぎて、危うくパンだけでおなかいっぱいになるところでしたよ!
前菜にはカルパッチョをチョイス。
本当にすぐにおなかいっぱいになりそうな勢いだったので一皿をシェア。
ビーフとラム、仔牛の、三種のお肉のカルパッチョで、それぞれ色々なソースペーストと巻いたものをスライスしてるのですが、
仔牛がチーズで、ビーフは...なんだったかな...(それともビーフがチーズとだったかな...）。
でも驚きだったのが、一番おいしかったのがラムとミントソース。
というのも、私、ミントは苦手なのです。というか食べられない。
なのにミントを含むラムが一番おいしかったと感じるなんて!!
まあ、どれも本当においしかったんですけど。
とにかくこの時点で感動。

So, the dinner.
Their bread was so good that we were almost full with only the bread....
We chose carpaccio for a starter.
We were not very hungry so we just shared a plate....
There were three kinds of slices which were beef, lamb, and veal with three different kind of paste.
Veal with cheese, ....or beef with cheese?  I forgot the other one....
Anyway, surprisingly, the best for me was the lamb with mint paste.
Because, I personally hate mint.  I really can't eat.
However, I felt that the lamb carpaccio with mint was so delicious!!
The others were great too, of course.

そしてメインは、やっぱりこれでしょ、な、シュニッツェル。
当たり前すぎるメニューなので、これこそを本格レストランで頂こうと思ったわけです。
で、結果は!!
さくさくおいしいけれど、やっぱり相方さんが選んだローストビーフが最高でした!!　笑
これはカツがそんなに好きではない私の意見ですので。笑
もちろんシュニッツェルもおいしかったんですよ!
でも、でも、やはり本格レストランのローストビーフはほんとに最高です、ということです。笑
お肉が本当にとろっとろで...。ソースもおいしい!
なのになのに、二人そろっておなかいっぱいになって残してしまう始末。
ほんとうにごめんなさい。

And for main, I chose Schnitzel.  Yes, typical.
I thought that I should have this typical menu in the genuine restaurant.
Of course it was great.
It was.  However...... I preferred that my mister's roast beef!! lol
Just to make sure, the Schnitzel was delicious too, the batter was flaky and the meat was soft.
I just preferred braised meat than battered meat. lol
Their roast beef was just.....heaven.
So tender, almost melted on the tongue, and the sauce was delicious too.
Even though, we were too full to finish our dishes......
We were so sorry.....

というわけでデザートもいただくことが出来ないほどでありましたよ...。
ちなみに、このレストランのキャラクターや、名前でもある「白い煙突掃除人」。
煙突掃除屋といえばすすで真っ黒というイメージがありますが、なぜ彼は白いのか。
実はここのパン焼きの女の子といちゃついていたから小麦粉で白くなった、とのこと。
スタッフサービスも最高だし、レストランの雰囲気もとってもいいし、
特別な夜をウィーンでお考えでしたら、本当におすすめです。

In the end, we couldn't have dessert........
By the way, the restaurant's name means The White Chimney Sweeper.
Usually chimney sweeper is covered with black soot.
Then why is he "white"?
Because he was flirting with a baker girl, so he was covered with white flour.
The staff's service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was superb....
If you are thinking to have a special night in Vienna, I really recommend this place.

本格レストランですが、この日は私たちの結婚記念日。
それに私の治療終了のお祝いもかねていたので奮発です!
こちらはウィーンでも最も古いレストランの一つで、あのザッハトルテのザッハさんが所有していたレストランでも知られています。

We decided to have dinner near there.

さてさて、観光の始まりです！
ウィーンの中心地は、ドナウ川とリングと呼ばれる環状道路によって円形に区切られていて、地図で見てもわかりやすい。
観光の中心地も、その円形地区の中心にあるシュテファン寺院です。

Start sightseeing in Vienna from St.Stephan's Cathedral!
The centre of Vienna is surrounded by The Danube and Ring (ring road), it's easy to find in a map.
The center of sightseeing area is also in the town centre, and St. Stephan's Cathedral is in the very center of the area.

中心にあるランドマーク、シュテファン寺院。

St. Stephan Cathedral is a landmark of Vienna.

中はとっても荘厳な雰囲気。
ミサが日に4回は開かれているので、その時間を避けて行きました。

Solemn atmosphere inside.
There are 4 masses a day, so I went there avoiding mass time.

ミサ中に行っても、中に檻のような（！）ゲートがあり、観光客も入れることは入れます。
が、やっぱり私もじっくり見たいし写真も撮りたいし、邪魔もしたくないのでミサの時間には行きたくない…。
檻から中に行くには有料です。
そのほか、カタコンベ(地価墓地）や塔に上るのも別料金。

There is a big gate inside so tourists can go in there even during mass.
But I would like to see with taking time and take photos too.
I didn't want to bother mass either, so I checked mass time and avoided.
To get inside of the gate, you have to pay.
Also you have to pay other fees to get in a catacomb and climb up towers.

12世紀から18世紀の建築が混じった教会。
このほかいろんな教会をウィーンで見ましたが、プラハで同様に思ったこと、中欧の教会は豪華！

It was started to build in the 12th century, and some parts were from the 18th century.
I saw some other churches in Vienna, and I thought that churches in Middle Europe are sure gorgeous!  (I thought the same thing in Prague too.)

ハプスブルク家の歴代君主が眠り、モーツァルトの結婚式と葬儀が行われた、歴史のある場所…。

It's a very historical place where former monarchs from the house of Habsburg sleeping and was held Mozart's wedding and funeral...

塔は内部が近代化されてて、なんとエレベーターで上まで直通！
北の塔に登りました。
教会で一番高い部分ではないので、(上れる部分では一番高いけれど）360度の景色が見られないのは残念。

The North tower was modernized, you can use a lift and go straight to the top!
It was a shame I couldn't see a 360-degree view.

屋根にはハプスブルク家の紋章、双頭の鷲。

You can see the double headed eagle, the emblem of Habsburg, on the roof.

さて、大聖堂を出ると、ウィーンの繁華街です。
有名どころのお店が並ぶ、ショッピングエリア。

When you get out St Stephan's Cathedral, there is the most busy street in Vienna.
Like Oxford Street in London.

このメインストリートをたどるとオペラ座や、王宮など、他の観光名所にもたどり着けます。

When you follow this street, you can reach the opera house, Imperial Palace, and other sightseeing spots.

でも、ひとたび横にそれると、旧市街らしい細道がくねくねのびていて、横道探検も楽しい。

However, once you diverge from the main street, you can see interesting alleys.

砂糖菓子みたいなかわいいビル。

Lovely buildings like sugar crafts.

大陸のビルは、ロンドンのシンプルなビルと違って、装飾的だからかわいい。

Love old towns in the Continent, it's so different from London....

そこいらにきれいなモニュメントがあったり、

You can see beautiful monuments...

私の大好きなデコデコな看板たちもちらほら。

and decorative signs which I love!

夜もまた違った雰囲気なのです。

The town looks different at night.

さて、夜も更けたし、次回はウィーンのとっておきレストランでディナーです。

さてさて、観光の始まりです！
ウィーンの中心地は、ドナウ川とリングと呼ばれる環状道路によって円形に区切られていて、地図で見てもわかりやすい。

Le Corsaire　海賊

ウィーンといえば、音楽!
クラシカルミュージックやオペラ、というイメージですが、実はバレエの世界でもウィーンが熱い!
というのも、フランスバレエの大スター、マニュエル・ルグリが芸術監督についてからというもの、ウィーンバレエが注目されているから。
彼が監修し、去年初演された海賊は特に注目を集めました。
ちょうど私が行く時期にも再演されていて、これを見逃す手はない!!と、ウィーンについたその足で行ってきました～!
まずは歌劇場を散策。

Speaking of Vienna, it's classical music.
Specially famous for classical music and opera, however, ballet is hot in Vienna too.
Since The Manuel Legris, a star dancer from Paris Opera Ballet became the director of Vienna State Ballet, the ballet company is watched by the world.
His new production "Le Corsaire" had drawn many people's attention.
The ballet was on when I was staying in Vienna, so I couldn't miss it!
We went to the Opera House as soon as we arrived in Vienna.

カラフルできらびやかな印象のパリのオペラ座と比べると、
ウィーンの内装は白が基調で清楚な雰囲気。

Compared with Paris Opera Ballet which is more colourful and shining,
Vienna Opera House is based on white, so looks more pure and elegant.

オペラ座って、やっぱりどこも豪華なのね…。
正面大階段はやっぱりステキ。

Any opera houses are gorgeous everywhere.....
Their staircase was amazing too.

バーのエリアは一段と豪華です。

The bar was absolutely stunning.

テラスに出ることもできます。
ウィーンの旧市街の夜景が一望。

You can go out on the terrace and see lovely night scenery from the top.

客席はそんなに装飾がなく、すっきり。
ここから見ることができました。
これで一番上のバルコニーですが、ステージもそんなに遠くなくてよかった。

The seats area was quite simple.
This is the view from my seat.
It was the top balcony seat, but not bad view as the stage was not so far!

さて、肝心の演目の「海賊」。
海賊は芸術的というよりは、むしろエンターテイメント的な作品で、
そのためにあまり全幕で上演されることは少なかったのですが、
今またそのエンターテイメント性が注目され、いろんなところで新版が制作されています。
ロンドンのイングリッシュ・ナショナル・バレエの海賊もこの間新制作されたばかり。
そんなわけで、超絶技巧のあるエンターテイメントなダンスと、
いろんなバージョンの海賊があることから、どこをどういうふうに変えていくのかという見所があります。
日々、ルグリに鍛えられてきたウィーンのダンサーたちの実力を堪能できる作品です!
さて、キャストリストと詳しい感想はネタばれアリなので、この下に書きますね!

And, Le Corsaire.
It's an entertainment rather than artistic, so it was quite rare to see whole act.
However, recently many ballet company reproduce this ballet.
English National Ballet also made a new production of Le Corsaire.
The highlight of this ballet is the super technique dance, and also you can compare with other productions as this ballet has lots of variations in each ballet company.
As my review contains the detail of the ballet, I will write it below with cast list.

私が滞在中にあった海賊はこの14日と、もう一日あったのですが、
その日はイギリスのスターになりつつあるロイヤルのワディム・ムンタギロフがコンラッド役のゲスト!
でも、ワディムのコンラッドはＥＮＢで見たし…。
そして最近インスタグラムでファンになった、ウィーンのステキなダンサー、Nikisha Fogoがこの14日にグルナーラとしてキャスティングされていたので、
どうせだったらウィーンのダンサーを堪能しようとこの14日を選びました。
なのになのに、一番見たかったNikishaが怪我で降板！(泣）
本当に残念でなりませんでしたが、早い回復を祈るばかりです。

During my stay in Vienna, there were 2 performances of Le Corsaire, on 14th and the other date.
That day has a guest artist from Royal Ballet, who was Vadim Muntagirov.
I love his dancing, but I have already seen his Conrad in ENB....
So I decided to see it on 14th as there was my favourite dancer Nikisha Fogo was cast as Gulnare.
However, she got injured and the cast was changed!
It was very sad, but I hope that she recovers as soon as possible.

さて、ルグリ版海賊は、メドーラとグルナーラがランデケムにさらわれるところから始まります。
ここもあんまり見ない描写だけれど、一番の大きな違いは、アリがいないこと！
アリはまあ、ストーリーには関係ないっちゃ関係ないのでいなくても大丈夫そうだけど(笑）
一番海賊っぽい格好の人がいないので、そこはなんかしっくり来なかったり。笑
なので、グラン・パ・ド・ドゥのあのヴァリエーションもコンラッドが踊ります。
あとはオダリスクのパ・ド・トロワ。
これはわりと有名なのに、ルグリさんは音楽からすべて変更、よって振り付けもすべて変更。
3幕でランデケムがメドーラをパシャに連れて行ったときに、パシャがランデケムをもてなす？踊りとなってます。
2幕のグランのあとに、寝室のパ・ド・ドゥがありますが（ないバージョンもあったような）
ルグリバージョンの音楽はタリスマンだったか何かの、とにかくどこかで聴いたような有名音楽を使ってました。なんだったかな～。

Legris' Le Corsaire starts from the scene of the kidnap of Medora and Gulnare.
I had never seen such a scene in other productions, however, the biggest difference was, there is no Ali in this production.
Actually, Ali is not very important in the story, but he has the most famous variation in whole act.
So Conrad dances his variation instead.
Also Legris changed the famous Odalisque pas de trois.
He changed the music, therefore, the choreography is totally different from the classical version.
Also he added a pas de deux in the bedroom scene.
Legirs uses the famous music....  I thought it was the adagio from Talisman pas de deux....(I am not sure though....)

ダンサーは、Nikishaが見られなくて本当に残念でしたが、
もう一人、ぜひ見たかったメドーラのリュドミラさんは本当に素晴らしかった！(写真はグルナーラのときのですが。）
愛らしく、華があるメドーラで、テクニックもあり体のラインもすごくきれい。

Speaking of dancers, although I was so disappointed that I couldn't see Nikisha,
Liudmila who danced Medora was so fantastic. (the photo is as Gulunare)
Her Medora was so adorable and had aura.
She's got technique and beautiful body line too.

もうひとり印象に残ったのは、オダリスクの3人目の人。
オダリスクは、やっぱり古典版の音楽が耳に残ってるため、新しいほうはどうしても印象に薄いんだけれど、
この人のヴァリエーションのＩ字バランスが完璧で、それがすごく記憶に残りました。

Another dancer I was impressed was the third odalisque.
To be honest, I preferred the classical version music and choreography.
However, in her variation, she showed beautiful 6 o'clock balance, it was unforgettable.


男性で一番印象に残ったのはビルバント役の人。
キャラクターダンサーで、あまり海賊では目立つヴァリエーションもない役ですが、
この日のダンサーさんは切れがあって一番目立ってました。

Speaking of male dancers, the dancer who left the biggest impression on me was Birbanto.
Birbanto is a character role and he doesn't have a famous variation and pas de deux.
However Richard Szabo had sharp movements and stood out the most.

ウィーンといえば、音楽!
クラシカルミュージックやオペラ、というイメージですが、実はバレエの世界でもウィーンが熱い!
というのも、フランスバレエの大スター、マニュエル・ルグリが芸術監督についてからというもの、ウィーンバレエが注目されているから。
彼が監修し、去年初演された海賊は特に注目を集めました。
ちょうど私が行く時期にも再演されていて、これを見逃す手はない!!と、ウィーンについたその足で行ってきました～!
まずは歌劇場を散策。

Speaking of Vienna, it's classical music.
Specially famous for classical music and opera, however, ballet is hot in Vienna too.
Since The Manuel Legris, a star dancer from Paris Opera Ballet became the director of Vienna State Ballet, the ballet company is watched by the world.
His new production "Le Corsaire" had drawn many people's attention.
The ballet was on when I was staying in Vienna, so I couldn't miss it!
We went to the Opera House as soon as we arrived in Vienna.

カラフルできらびやかな印象のパリのオペラ座と比べると、
ウィーンの内装は白が基調で清楚な雰囲気。

Compared with Paris Opera Ballet which is more colourful and shining,
Vienna Opera House is based on white, so looks more pure and elegant.

オペラ座って、やっぱりどこも豪華なのね…。
正面大階段はやっぱりステキ。

Any opera houses are gorgeous everywhere.....
Their staircase was amazing too.

バーのエリアは一段と豪華です。

The bar was absolutely stunning.

テラスに出ることもできます。
ウィーンの旧市街の夜景が一望。

You can go out on the terrace and see lovely night scenery from the top.

客席はそんなに装飾がなく、すっきり。
ここから見ることができました。
これで一番上のバルコニーですが、ステージもそんなに遠くなくてよかった。

The seats area was quite simple.
This is the view from my seat.
It was the top balcony seat, but not bad view as the stage was not so far!

さて、肝心の演目の「海賊」。
海賊は芸術的というよりは、むしろエンターテイメント的な作品で、
そのためにあまり全幕で上演されることは少なかったのですが、
今またそのエンターテイメント性が注目され、いろんなところで新版が制作されています。
ロンドンのイングリッシュ・ナショナル・バレエの海賊もこの間新制作されたばかり。
そんなわけで、超絶技巧のあるエンターテイメントなダンスと、
いろんなバージョンの海賊があることから、どこをどういうふうに変えていくのかという見所があります。
日々、ルグリに鍛えられてきたウィーンのダンサーたちの実力を堪能できる作品です!
さて、キャストリストと詳しい感想はネタばれアリなので、この下に書きますね!

And, Le Corsaire.
It's an entertainment rather than artistic, so it was quite rare to see whole act.
However, recently many ballet company reproduce this ballet.
English National Ballet also made a new production of Le Corsaire.
The highlight of this ballet is the super technique dance, and also you can compare with other productions as this ballet has lots of variations in each ballet company.
As my review contains the detail of the ballet, I will write it below with cast list.

私が滞在中にあった海賊はこの14日と、もう一日あったのですが、
その日はイギリスのスターになりつつあるロイヤルのワディム・ムンタギロフがコンラッド役のゲスト!
でも、ワディムのコンラッドはＥＮＢで見たし…。
そして最近インスタグラムでファンになった、ウィーンのステキなダンサー、Nikisha Fogoがこの14日にグルナーラとしてキャスティングされていたので、
どうせだったらウィーンのダンサーを堪能しようとこの14日を選びました。
なのになのに、一番見たかったNikishaが怪我で降板！(泣）
本当に残念でなりませんでしたが、早い回復を祈るばかりです。

During my stay in Vienna, there were 2 performances of Le Corsaire, on 14th and the other date.
That day has a guest artist from Royal Ballet, who was Vadim Muntagirov.
I love his dancing, but I have already seen his Conrad in ENB....
So I decided to see it on 14th as there was my favourite dancer Nikisha Fogo was cast as Gulnare.
However, she got injured and the cast was changed!
It was very sad, but I hope that she recovers as soon as possible.

さて、ルグリ版海賊は、メドーラとグルナーラがランデケムにさらわれるところから始まります。
ここもあんまり見ない描写だけれど、一番の大きな違いは、アリがいないこと！
アリはまあ、ストーリーには関係ないっちゃ関係ないのでいなくても大丈夫そうだけど(笑）
一番海賊っぽい格好の人がいないので、そこはなんかしっくり来なかったり。笑
なので、グラン・パ・ド・ドゥのあのヴァリエーションもコンラッドが踊ります。
あとはオダリスクのパ・ド・トロワ。
これはわりと有名なのに、ルグリさんは音楽からすべて変更、よって振り付けもすべて変更。
3幕でランデケムがメドーラをパシャに連れて行ったときに、パシャがランデケムをもてなす？踊りとなってます。
2幕のグランのあとに、寝室のパ・ド・ドゥがありますが（ないバージョンもあったような）
ルグリバージョンの音楽はタリスマンだったか何かの、とにかくどこかで聴いたような有名音楽を使ってました。なんだったかな～。

コッツウォルズやイギリスのほかの町の紹介もしたいですが、ウィーンの記憶が新鮮なうちに、旅行記を書いちゃいますね!

I still have to write about Cotswolds and other England towns, but I would love to start from Vienna as my memory is still fresh.



今回は私のビザが取れ次第急遽決めたので、何もプランしなくていい、ラストミニッツのシティブレイク。
ラストミニッツのシティブレイクは、ある程度の値段を見た上で、ホテルの質や飛行機の時間をずらせたり調節できるので重宝しています。
自分で探せばもっと安く出来るかも、と思っても、結局やっぱりパックになってるのでお得なんですよね。
今回は探す時間も惜しかったので、ラストミニッツに決めてしまいました。
飛行機の時間をもっと早めたり遠くの空港にしたり、
ホテルの質にこだわらなければもっと安く出来ますが、
私たちが選んだパックだと二人で４泊５日で約５８０ポンドでした。
(私たちはヒースローに近いので行きはヒースロー限定で。ヒースローは他の空港に比べて高い。
ライアンエアーもあって安かったけど、相方が嫌いなのでパス。）

This time, we picked a citybreak package from lastminute.com. as we didn't have time to plan.
I like lastminutes' package as we can adjust our plan to choose hotels and flights.
You may find cheaper hotels and flight if you look for by yourself, but I think this is still cheaper.
Anyway we didn't have time to look for, so we picked it.
Our plan was almost 580 pounds for 2 persons for 4 nights hotels and return flights.
( We could have picked a cheaper plan if we didn't pick Heathrow flights and picked cheaper hotel.)



で、今回選んだホテルがこちら!

So, this is our hotel in Vienna!

値段が安くてレビューもかなりよく、見た目もおしゃれだったのでここに決めました!
ビルの外側はちょっと団地っぽいですが…

Magdas Hotel.
We chose this hotel because it was reasonable price and good review, and their rooms looked stylish!
The building looks a bit like a council house....

ロビーはこんな感じでおしゃれ!

Look, their lobby is so stylish!

ひろーいラウンジも、モダンなインテリアでおしゃれ!

Their lounge is so huge, I loved the interior!!

実はここ、つい最近まで、老人ホームだったところらしいんです。
それが、ホームレスの施設を経て、2015年にオープンしたばかり。

It seemed it used to be a care home until 2014.
They refurbished the building and opened as a hotel in 2015.

場所はこちら。(この地図もロビーにあるアートのひとつ。）
ウィーン・ミッテ駅からはドナウ川をはさんで反対側ですが、
空港からだとＳバーン線で一直線で来れるので(S7)、交通の便も便利!　(最寄り駅はPraterstern)
王宮や劇場のある旧市街へも地下鉄ですぐです。
有名なフンデルトヴァッサーハウスも歩いていける距離です。

Their location is very good too. (this map is one of their art!)
It's opposite side of Danube river from Vienna Mitte station.
However, S-Bahn train (S7) goes to the nearest station (Praterstern) of Magdas hotel from the airport!!  It's really convenient.
Also Praterstern has U-Bahn 1 & 2, which goes to the old town, so it is very convenient place for transport.
Also you can walk to the famous Hundertwasserhaus from the hotel.

肝心のお部屋はこちら!
シンプル!　ニットのランプシェードとか、ミッドセンチュリーな家具とか、私はツボで好きだし、部屋もひろびろ!
ここはエコを気にしているホテルらしいので、家具も老人ホームだったときの廃材を利用しているんです。
左に写っているデスクも、実は元ドアで、鍵穴が!
シンプルすぎてテレビもないですが、必要なかったし私はこれで満足。
（ただし、欲しい人はタブレットを貸してくれるそうですし、これよりグレードアップな部屋にはちゃんとあるそう。）

This is our room!
Simple!  But I love the knit lampshades and mid-century furniture!  The room was huge too!
Some of their furniture were repurposed by waste materials from the care home.
The desk in the left of the photo used to be a door, you can see a keyhole on the surface.
It's really simple room and there was no TV.
I didn't need it but you can borrow a tablet if you want to watch something and also there are also luxury rooms with TV.

朝食はビュッフェ方式で、1階にある食堂で。
基本別料金ですが、私たちのラストミニッツのパックにはついていました。
（ちなみに壁にかかってるおしゃれな鏡も元ドア!）

Breakfast is a buffet style.
Basically it's not included in the room price, but it was included for our lastminutes package.

フレッシュなハムにチーズ、フルーツにシリアル、そしておいしそうなたくさんの種類のパン…。調理された卵もありました。
なんといってもうれしかったのが、グルテンフリーのパンも置いていたところ!
そしてそれが普通のパンと比べてもおいしかったんです。
(おいしすぎて人気だったのか、初日しか見かけなかった笑）

Fresh hams, cheese, fruits, cereals, and many kinds of bread....  Cooked eggs too.
The best thing was they have gluten free bread!  (my partner wanted gluten free bread.)
even better, it was very good too!
(I think too good that we only saw it in our first day.)

ひろーいガーデンもあります。もうすでに寒かったけど…。
ちなみに屋上もあって、そこでは養蜂もやっており、そこでとれた蜂蜜も売ってるんです!

They also have huge garden....  (It was already too cold to be outside though....)
By the way, they have a roof top terrace and they are doing beekeeping and selling their own honey!

他にもうれしいのが自転車。
私たちは歩きで十分だったので乗りませんでしたが、滞在日数が少ない人はこれに乗ってすい～っとウィーンを一日で回れそう。

They also rental bicycles.
We didn't use it, but it could be useful to tour Vienna city if you are doing a short stay.

と、本当におすすめしたいところばかりなんですが、気にかかる点もアリ。
ひとつは、駅からこの公園を歩いていかなければならないところ。(10分弱くらい）
日中はステキだしむしろ歩きたいくらいですが、夜はちょっと怖いかも。
私は相方が一緒だったので全然平気でしたし、別に怖い人がいっぱいいるってわけでもないんですが、人通りが本当にないです。
そして、虫が部屋にいたこと!!
部屋の目の前がこの公園なので、この木からくる虫だといわれたのですが、
それにしても初日に10匹くらい部屋で発見したので…。
(ちなみにカメムシっぽい虫です。カメムシかどうかはわかりませんが、たぶんそう。）
部屋をぶんぶん飛び回るわけではないのですが、私のジーンズに入っていたときはさすがに…。
私はホステルとかも泊まれるし、(ベッドバグでない限り）あまり虫とか気にするほうでもないのですが、やっぱり服に入られたらうげっとなりました。
ホテルの人に言ったのですが、わかってるぽかったので、ウィーンの風物詩とか?
寒くなってきたから入ってきたとか、他の季節だったら大丈夫なのかな…。
本当に、この虫だけが残念なポイント。
虫好き、またはそういうのを気にしない方には断然おすすめしたいホテルです!

One is you have to walk through this park from the station.
It is a beautiful park and I would rather walk if it is daytime.
But I would be scared if I had to walk alone at night.
I was ok because I was with my mister and there were no scary people.  But there WERE NO people.
Second is.... insects!!
We found more than 10 stink bug looks-like insects in our room when we checked in.....
They were not flying and I don't really care those quiet insects....
However I found one in my jeans.......  Yak!!!!
Staff knew it and explained they are from the park (in front of our room).
Is it normal in Vienna?
It was a shame point as the hotel was perfect except for this insects....
If you like insects or you don't care, I really recommend it.

コッツウォルズやイギリスのほかの町の紹介もしたいですが、ウィーンの記憶が新鮮なうちに、旅行記を書いちゃいますね!
